Description
This cottage, located south west of Burford Cross Roads, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features both tile and slate roofs. The building stands two storeys high and consists of two bays, with a rear wing on the south-west side that completes an "L" shaped plan. The entrance is a boarded door situated under a pitched hood supported by brackets. The ground floor has three-light flush casements with cambered arches and keystones, while the first floor is adorned with a dentil course under the eaves. The gable ends have stacks and barge boards. Inside, there are ledged and battened doors.
