Description
St Mary's Churchyard Wall is a churchyard boundary wall, likely restored in 1897 from an earlier structure. It is constructed of red sandstone, featuring large ashlar blocks that are generally one or two courses high. Both sides of the wall are steeply weathered, and it has a flat-topped coping that slightly overhangs the wall. The coping is ramped to accommodate changes in the level of the footway and to align with the piers that flank the openings in the wall.
