Description

No. 20 High Street is a late 18th-century building constructed of brick with stone dressings. It stands two storeys tall with an attic. The façade features a triple sash window, with the central window arched and set within a moulded stone surround that includes slender pilasters. The shallow pitched gable is finished as a pediment, adorned with a stone cornice that has small modillions, and it encloses a semi-circular window in a stone surround. The building has a modern shop front. It is part of a group that includes Nos. 12, 16, 18A, 18, 20A, and Nos. 22 to 28 (even).
