Pair of houses, possibly formerly a row of 3. Probably late C17 with early C19 addition. Render over brick with possible timber-framed core. Heavy stone-flagged roof. Original building of one-and-a-half storeys, main range and cross wing plan, extended by a 2-storeyed, single-window range to right, probably originally a separate dwelling. Central doorway to No.3 in centre of main range, with canopy hood over and continuous hoodmould spanning the flanking 3-light casement windows. Single wide gabled dormer over, with 3-light casement. Gabled wing to left comprises No.5: doorway to left in plain architrave, with 3-light casement window on each floor alongside. Brick nogging to string course. Axial stack on junction of main range and cross wing, a C20 side wall stack to wing. No.3 has single-window range extension to right, with doorway to left and 3-light casment window alongside. Blind upper storey, lit by casement window in gable wall.
