Description

The garden shelter at Parkside Hospital, located between blocks 16 and 18, dates from around 1875. It is constructed of wood and features a hipped slate roof adorned with decorative ridge tiles. The shelter has a rectangular shape, with matchboard lined recesses on each side that contain fixed benches. Above these benches are glazed screens. The openings on the longer sides are flanked by matchboard panels that also have similar screens. This structure is included for its group value.
