Description
The Badger is a public house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations. It is constructed of brown brick with a roughcast facade and features a slate roof. The building has three storeys and three bays, along with a two-storey, two-bay wing on the west side. The front facade includes sash windows with exposed weight boxes and glazing bars, while the rear (north) windows are recessed. Above the modern entrance door, there is a radial bar fanlight. On the second floor, there is a semi-circular headed window beneath a shallow pitched gable, with flanking windows in flat roofed dormers. The building has gable end stacks and a double pile wing at the rear. The interior is noted as having no particular interest. The Badger is listed for its group value only.
