Description
Denfield Cottage is a house that dates from the late 17th century, with additions from the 18th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of stone and timber frame, featuring rendered infill and a thatched roof. The building has two storeys.
The entrance front showcases three different architectural styles: to the left is 18th-century stonework, which includes two 20th-century three-light casement windows on the ground floor and a four-light dormer window above. The central portion, dating to the late 17th century, consists of four bays of timber framing with a painted stone base, featuring two three-light casements on the ground floor and a three-light dormer on the first floor. To the right, there is a 20th-century gabled stone porch, accompanied by five bays of small timber framing on the left side.
