Description
The Legh Arms Public House is a late 18th-century building that has undergone extensive modernization in the late 20th century. It is constructed of rendered brick with stone dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The building is 2½ stories tall with a symmetrical three-bay front. The end bays contain horned 12-pane sash windows set under flat wedged heads with raised keystones. In the half storey, there are 6-pane, top-hinged casements also under similar heads. The central bay slightly projects forward and includes a semi-circular headed stone doorcase with moulded imposts and a raised keystone, leading to an internal porch. Similar windows can be found above, and at the rear, there is a range made of stone rubble. The interior is entirely from the 20th century. To the left of the main building, there is a four-bay late 20th-century addition that serves as a dining room, which is not included in the listing.
