Description

Bridge No. 146 is a canal bridge located on the Trent and Mersey Canal, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of random bond brick and features a single span with a central cambered arch. The arch is flanked by curved retaining walls that end in square-section brick piers. Above the parapet, there is an ashlar band and coping, with a rectangular ashlar block positioned above the center of the arch.
