Description
The former Friends Meeting House, now used as offices, was built in 1830. It is constructed of Flemish bond orange brick set on a sandstone plinth, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof and featuring one brick chimney. The building has a rectangular plan and a symmetrical front with five bays, all on one storey. A stone band runs at the impost level of tall semi-circular gauged and rubbed brick headed recesses, which contain semi-circular headed sash windows. The central bay features a reeded doorcase with roundels at the corners and a less deep sash window above. To the right, there is a lower one-bay addition. The interior is very plain and lacks any notable features.
