Description
Bridge No. 82 is a farm bridge over the Macclesfield Canal, built around 1827 by William Crosley. It is constructed of yellow sandstone coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. The bridge features a single span with a horseshoe arch made of voussoirs and a projecting keystone that connects with a band below the parapet. There is battered walling on either side and curved retaining walls that end in square piers. The top of the parapet has chamfered coping.
