Description
Moss Cottage is a former farm building that dates back to the early 18th century and is now a cottage. It features a brick nogged timber frame and a tiled roof, with two storeys and an attic. The facade has 12 panels, while the gable has 5 panels and single rail passing braces. There is a high brick plinth. The cottage includes early rectangular-leaded wrought-iron casements and cast-iron lattice casements set into the frame panels. A single gabled dormer contains a 2-light lattice casement. The entrance has a 20th-century studded door with false strap hinges, sheltered by a pitched hood. Inside, the cottage has chamfered beams, exposed ceiling joists, and wide-boarded doors.
