Description
Anfield House is a narrow, single-gabled house built in the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with stone end quoins. The house features two sash windows that have flat brick arches, although the windows have generally been restored and do not have glazing bars. There are two string courses on the facade. A former doorway in the yard has been removed, and a new doorway has been created on the right-hand side. This new entrance has a wood pilaster doorcase, a cornice, and a re-used six-panelled door. The end gable is stone-coped, and the roof is covered with slates.
