Description

Hague Bridge is a road bridge that crosses the River Goyt. It was built in the early 19th century using hammer-dressed sandstone. The bridge features a low segmental arch with chamfered coping at road level, topped by a plain parapet with a half round top. At the corners of the bridge, there are square pilasters with angled wing walls that also end in square pilasters. The bridge spans the border between Cheshire and Derbyshire.
