Description
The former Grammar School and Headmaster's House, located at 108 Welsh Row, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick with blue brick diapering. The building has two storeys plus an attic and features a projecting gabled wing at the front. There are two lattice casement windows set in stone keyed surrounds, and to the right, there is an octagonal bell-tower topped with a spirelet. The school-room, situated on the right-hand side, has three four-light stone mullioned and transomed windows. The roof is covered with slates. Nos 100 to 108 Welsh Row form a group.
