Description

Bennett's Bridge (No. 80) is an accommodation bridge located on the Newhall Shropshire Union Canal, built between 1827 and 1830, designed by Thomas Telford. The bridge is constructed of washed brick and features a stone band and copings. It has a single elliptical arch and a slightly cambered solid parapet with piers. There are two iron rope fenders and a brick-paved towpath beneath the bridge.
