Description

Canal Bridge Number 14, built around 1830 by William Crosley for the Macclesfield Canal Company, carries a track to Red Legg Farm. The bridge features hammer-dressed sandstone piers and a replaced wooden flat roadway. It is identical to canal bridge Number 18 on Simpson Lane in Pott Shrigley, except that it does not have a ramp.
