Description

The range of farm buildings at Harestead Farm dates from the late 17th century, likely built around the same time as the farmhouse, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The buildings are constructed from coursed, buff sandstone rubble and feature a Kerridge stone-slate roof with a stone ridge. The layout is L-shaped. The south range includes a three-bay former corn barn that has entrances on opposite sides, each with wooden lintels. The west range is a shippon that has 19th-century rectangular openings with stone lintels. Large roof timbers are visible in all gables.
