Description

Lambert's Lane Bridge Number 77 is an accommodation and roving bridge built in 1831 by W. Crosley, located over the Macclesfield Canal. The bridge is constructed from coursed Keuper sandstone blocks and features a horseshoe elliptical arch. It has a projecting carriageway band and concave battered abutments. The north parapet has a segmental topped projecting coping, while the south parapet is finished with half-round flush copings that connect to the towpath approach walls.
