Description

Livesey Hall Bridge, located at Number 94 on Cherry Tree Lane, is a Grade II listed bridge over the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, constructed between 1812 and 1815. The supervising engineers for the project were Joseph and James Fletcher, with Thomas Heaton as the contractor. The bridge is built from coursed sandstone blocks and features an elliptical arch adorned with rusticated voussoirs and a keystone. It has a band, pilastered ends, and a parapet with rounded coping.
