Description

Piers, walls, and steps to the north of the pumping station were built in 1890. The structure features low walls that end in corniced square piers, flanking a set of 22 steps leading up the mound of the engine house. It is constructed from brick and terracotta, with one urn located on the south-east pier. This feature is included for its group value.
