Description
The lych gate and surrounding walls at the Church of St Andrew were likely built around 1908. The walls are made of magnesian limestone rubble and extend around the north, east, and south sides of the church grounds. These walls feature roughly dressed gabled coping and are interrupted by plain piers located at the northeast and southwest corners. The lych gate, situated at the southeast, has oak superstructure and gates, with boarded gates below a broad arch. The side walls of the gate are supported by cross-bracing and lead up to a high roof adorned with gablets.
