Description

This tomb, located 22 meters south of the south porch of the Church of Saint Nicholas, dates from the mid-19th century and was crafted by mason W Wilson from Tweedmouth. It features a low stone kerb, which is surrounded by iron railings that have been cut. At the center stands a column made of sandstone, resembling a village pump, topped with an ogee dome. The inscription reads "THE FAMILY OF EDWARD" and is accompanied by a band of quatrefoil decoration.
