Description

The Statue of Queen Victoria, created by sculptor Albert Toft around 1913, is a bronze figure standing 9 feet tall on a 12-foot high plinth made of Aberdeen granite. It was unveiled on May 7, 1913, and originally stood in front of the Municipal Buildings. The statue has since been relocated back to its original position in front of the Municipal Buildings on Westoe Road.
