Description

The forecourt railings and statue of Britannia are located in front of the Britannia Public House on Charlotte Terrace, Westoe Road. The statue, made of marble and created around 1900, stands in front of the building to the south of the entrance and is positioned behind the railings. The statue is missing its arms and is signed by the sculptor Bertram Pegram from London.
