Description

The footbridge crossing the Ouseburn, located south of Red Walk in Newcastle upon Tyne, was built around 1870. It is constructed from sandstone and features an ashlar segmental arch supported by snecked sandstone abutments. A band surrounds the arch, and the parapets along the path are made of irregular blocks, with a high raised center.
