Description

The footbridge located north-east of the Banqueting Hall in Jesmond Dene Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, dates from around 1870. It is constructed from sandstone and features an ashlar segmental arch with rusticated voussoirs. The bridge has coursed, squared stone abutments and low, rock-faced parapets that terminate in low square piers.
