Description
A row of houses, now shops and offices, dating to around 1839 and designed by Richard Grainger. The building is constructed of sandstone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. It comprises four storeys and fifteen bays. The ground floor has been altered, featuring renewed windows and doors, along with a rusticated entablature. Sections of the original fascia and cornice remain visible on numbers 10 and 12. The upper floors have plain window reveals, incorporating some original sash windows with glazing bars and some replacements. Aprons are present above the floor band on the second floor. A prominent cornice sits above the second-floor entablature, while a top eaves band and cornice complete the roofline.
