Description

Nos. 5-13 Grey Street are shops and offices built around 1835, likely designed by John Wardle for Richard Grainger. The building is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a Welsh slate roof. It stands four storeys tall with twelve bays. The ground floor has been renewed, including the ground-floor fascia. The upper floors are set back and have sash windows with glazing bars set in architraves. The second-floor windows have bracketed sills, and there is a plain entablature with a prominent cornice above. The third-floor sash windows are set in plain reveals beneath the top cornice.
