Description

This is a house located behind number 10 in the Cloth Market area of Newcastle upon Tyne, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick in various patterns, and the roof is not visible. The building has three storeys and five bays. There are doors located in the third and fourth bays; the door on the left has been renewed and features a 2-pane overlight, while the door on the right is double and boarded, with broad glazing bars above. The wide-boxed sashes with glazing bars have soldier-course lintels, and the larger ground floor windows show some alterations. There are also floor strings present.
