Description
Wellburn House is a house built in the mid-18th century with some alterations. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick, featuring five and one bond, and has a roof made of Welsh slate and concrete tiles. The house is two storeys high and has five bays. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with a four-pane overlight, all set beneath a flat brick arch. There are four wide-boxed sash windows with late 19th-century glazing bars, soldier course lintels, and rendered brick sills, while the fifth bay is blind. A string course runs along the first floor. The double-span roof includes brick chimneys at the left end and rear. Inside, the upper doors have two small panels above one large panel, and there is a keyhole fireplace in the attic.
