Description

This early 19th-century barn, stables, shelters, implement shed, and pigsties stand to the south of Town Farmhouse. The building is constructed from sandstone rubble with quoins, and has a Welsh slate roof. It is arranged around a square yard. The northern range is a barn with a double door in the gable, above which is a boarded square pitching hole. A stone slate shelf is present below an owl hole in the gable peak. The eastern and southern ranges contain three stables each, each with Dutch doors flanked by partly glazed hit-and-miss windows. The western range holds an implement shed and shelters, while two pigsties are attached to the north gable.
