Description
This is a late 18th-century farmhouse, originally two separate dwellings, with attached farm buildings dating to the early 19th century. The farmhouse has a pebble-dashed exterior, a Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings on curved kneelers, a brick chimney at the left end, and two corniced ashlar chimneys between bays three and four, and at the right end. It is two storeys high with five bays. Tripartite sash windows with glazing bars are found in bays one, three, and five, each with splayed stone lintels and flat stone sills. The front door in bay two has a shallow, oblong fanlight above it, beneath a blocked fanlight and a stilted pointed hood supported by brackets; a similar treatment is found to the door in bay four, which has a flat stilted hood on brackets. The attached farm buildings are of similar materials. They are two storeys high with seven bays and include loft windows in bays one, three, five, and seven, and blind windows in bays two, four, and six. A Yorkshire sash window with glazing bars is located on the ground floor at the right end, and there is a brick chimney at the right end.
