Description
The Presbyterian Church Hall, built in 1903, is an austere structure made of snecked sandstone rubble, topped with Welsh slate roofs featuring fretted ridge tiles and corniced ashlar stacks. It is situated on a sloping corner site, which enhances its commanding presence. The main hall includes an undercroft and features a large gabled end facing the road, divided into three bays. The windows are stone mullioned and transomed, with a central three-light window that has a Perpendicular head beneath a four-centred arch. To the right, there is a two-bay domestic section with three lower storeys, where some windows reflect the design of the hall but on a smaller scale. The main gabled right bay includes a two-storey battlemented oriel. On the left side of the hall, there is a prominent chimney stack with an abutting roof.
