Description
No. 63 High Street is a house dating from around 1700, which has been covered in stucco with incised lines. It features a deep moulded and modillioned eaves cornice, and the roof has been renewed with ridged concrete tiles that have a pronounced sweep, along with a chimney at the left end. The building is two storeys high and consists of one bay. On the first floor, there is a late 19th-century sash window in an exposed frame, complete with a raised lintel and key block. Below this, there is a late 19th-century canted bay window and a plain modern shop front. To the left, there is a yard entrance leading to Wingrove. The rear extensions have been altered significantly and are not of interest.
