Description

Homefield Farmhouse is an early to mid-18th century building located on High Lane in Maltby. The farmhouse features smooth render with pilaster bay divisions and additional half bays at each end. It has projecting end chimneys and a high-pitched pantiled roof with stone kneelers and widely swept eaves. The structure is two storeys tall and consists of three bays with tall proportions. The windows have glazing bars, are four panes wide, and are set in wooden architraves. The central entrance has a five-panel door topped by an oblong fanlight. There is a later 18th-century rear wing. The building was empty at the time of the survey.
