Description

This is an 18th-century house, originally numbers 42 and 44, with later additions. The building has a smooth rendered exterior and a swept, high-pitched roof with rebuilt end chimneys, now covered with modern concrete tiles. The south bay, number 58, has a pantiled roof. Replacement sash windows with glazing bars are present, set within stuccoed lintels and stone cills. Modern windows are on the ground floor of numbers 54 and 56. Number 56 features a four-panel door. The overall appearance suggests a farmhouse with a cottage. Yorkshire lights are visible behind the exterior.
