Description
The Roman Temple, located to the northwest of Wynyard Hall, is an early to mid-19th century structure, likely designed by Benjamin Wyatt. It is constructed of ashlar stone and is related to the Greek Temple situated above it. The temple is circular in shape and features four Roman Doric fluted columns, with two of these columns attached to the back wall. It is topped with a saucer dome that has a pine cone finial. At the time of the last survey, the temple was noted to be in poor repair.
