Description

Old Beck Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1700, with a later raising of two additional storeys approximately 1800. The construction is of dressed sandstone, and the roof is covered with Welsh slate, featuring stone ridge and gable copings. A rebuilt brick and stone stack is located on the left side. The cottage is three storeys high and has one window facing the street. A doorway, positioned on the right side, has a late 20th-century boarded door. Sash windows with glazing bars and painted sills are present. The ground-floor window is topped with a keyed lintel. Two altered nine-pane windows, incorporating hopper lights in the lower parts, are visible on the second floor. The cottage has end stacks.
