Description
No. 1 East Crescent is a house from the mid-18th century that was altered in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of dressed sandstone and features a renewed clay pantile roof with a stone ridge and gable copings, along with a moulded kneeler and a rebuilt brick stack. The house has two storeys and two windows. The doorway, located to the right, has a six-panel door with an overlight that includes geometric-pattern glazing bars. It is flanked by reeded pilasters and has a dentilled pedimented hood supported by ornamental brackets. The windows are renewed sashes with glazing bars, and there is a stack at the left end of the building. Additionally, garret lights are present in the left-hand gable.
