Description
A group of five tombstones commemorating members of the Parkin family is located approximately 7 meters south of the Church of St. Michael. These tombstones date from various years between 1750 and 1775. They are made of thick sandstone slabs, each featuring chamfered backs and curved heads with inscriptions on the west face. The leftmost tombstone has a crude carving of a draped skull and crossed bones, flanked by an hourglass and a scythe at the head. The other tombstones display draped, winged angel-heads with horns, accompanied by a prayer book and an hourglass.
