Description
Pinfold, located approximately 32 metres north-east of The Hollins, is an 18th-century structure made of coursed sandstone rubble, with mortar joints only at the copings. It features a timber gate and walls that are about 1.2 metres high and 53 centimetres thick, enclosing a rectangular space. At the south end of the west wall, there is a gateway with roughly-dressed posts and the remains of a gate.
