Description
This carriage house and stable, located approximately 50 yards north-west of Eslington Park, likely dates from the early 19th century and was raised in 1858. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a graduated Lakeland slate roof, forming an L-plan structure with two storeys.
The front block has three irregular bays and includes two segmental arches with boarded double doors. To the right, there is a half-glazed door, and there are blocked ventilation slits present. On the first floor, three small windows have plain raised surrounds; one is a fixed six-pane window while the others are slatted. The roof is hipped.
On the left side, there is a segmental arch and external stone steps leading to a granary.
