Description
The dovecote located 50 metres north-west of Plessey North Moor Farmhouse dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of snecked stone with tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building has a square plan and stands two storeys high. On the east side, there is a boarded door with a 6-pane casement window above it, while the north side features an external stone stair leading to another boarded door. All openings are framed with chamfered alternating-block surrounds, and the structure is capped with a pyramidal roof.
