Description

STANNINGTON SHOTTON NZ 27 NW 8/128 South Shotton House GV II House, c.1800 with late C19 rear wing. Squared tooled stone with snecked stone wing, tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings; Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys on basement, 3 bays, symmetrical. 8 steps up to central old half-glazed door; 16-pane sash windows; all openings in alternating-block surrounds. Coped gables with stepped-and-banded end stacks. Left return shows central 6-pane attic sash.
