Description
The garden wall, gatepiers, and gate located west of North Shotton Farmhouse date from the early 19th century. The wall is constructed of squared stone with a rubble internal face and features a flat stone coping. The wrought-iron gate is flanked by gatepiers that have a plinth and a band below a pyramidal cap. These piers are connected by railings adorned with foliate tops. The central gate includes square moulded posts and standards with decorative heads, as well as an arched rail.
