Description

This limekiln, located approximately 50 yards north-west of Craggyhall Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble with sandstone dressings. The structure features three large openings that are topped with wooden lintels, which are corbelled down inside to create round-headed drawing eyes. Inside, there is a stone-lined pot.
