Description
Craggyhall Farmhouse and the attached stable are a mid-18th century house located in Belford. The building is constructed of random rubble and features a Scottish slate roof with old brick chimneys. It has a T-plan layout, consisting of two low storeys with two broad bays and a central doorway. To the left, there is a single-storey, two-bay attached cottage, and to the right, a single-storey stable. The farmhouse has a boarded door and 12-pane sash windows on the ground floor, with small 6-pane casements above. The steeply-pitched gabled roof has raised coping and end stacks. The cottage also has a boarded door and a 12-pane sash window, while the stable features a half-slatted window. Both wings of the building have hipped roofs.
