Description
The farm buildings and gingang attached to the east of Heddon Banks Farmhouse are early 19th century structures now primarily used as workshops and for farm storage. They are built from coursed stone with ashlar dressings and feature a Welsh slate roof. The long two-storey range includes a gingang at the rear.
On the left side, there is a segmental arch with boarded double doors. The byres and barn have two boarded doors and five windows on the ground floor, along with two boarded pitching doors leading to the granary above, all set within chamfered alternating-block surrounds. The buildings have a gabled roof.
At the rear, the circular gingang is supported by oblong piers and topped with a conical roof. The roof features fine timbers, including curved purlins and an octagonal king post.
