Description

This is an 18th-century bridge located approximately 30 yards north of Clock Mill in Capheaton. It is constructed of dressed stone and ashlar, featuring a single elliptical arch with projecting voussoirs and a keystone. The parapet has ridged coping and is canted outwards at each end, ending in low square banded piers topped with pyramidal caps.
